Product Description

Walt Hansgen was a dominant driver in sports cars for the Cunningham team, then went on to prove his talent at the Indianapolis 500 as well as in NASCAR and Formula 1. Hansgen was also a first-rate development driver, and the book provides previously unpublished technical data and development history from his experience with D-type Jaguars, Lister-Jaguars, Birdcage Maseratis, and other cars. Tragically, he died of injuries suffered at Le Mans driving a Ford GT40 Mk II in 1966. The book is illustrated with original photos, many supplied from the Hansgen family collection.

Hardback, 235 x 210mm
